Schoolchildren’s folkloric notebooks of remembrances at the end of 20th century – at the begining of the 21st century: the change of the genre in social point of view
Review
The article analyzes the change of written/electronic communication of high school students in the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century and the quantity/quality of relationships among the youth. The main attention is appropriated for the developement of the traditions of filling folkloric notebooks of remembrances under the influence of the change of means of communication and interpersonal relationships.
The scientific problem discussed is the disappearance of communication traditions, decrease of communication quality, weakening of relationships and the reduction of time devoted to relationships. Writing is not long era genre – it is a form of communication.
The object of the paper is the evolution of the traditions of filling notebooks of remembrances in the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century and the quantity/quality of relationships using different communication methods.
The purpose of the work is to present the evolution of written communication among young people in the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century influenced by the usage of other technological means of communication, thus changing the quantity/quality/ depth of interpersonal relationships.
The structure of the paper. The work is composed of introduction, four main parts, findings and recomendations. The main themes analysed are the following: 1) "A theoretical analysis of the folkloric high school notebooks of remembrances"; 2) "The genre of folkloric notebooks of remembrances as a phenomenon and its development"; 3) "The traditions of written communication and collectivity/individualism in the beginning of the 21st century"; 4) "The folkloric notebooks of remembrances as a social and cultural phenomenon".
Methods used: interview, questionnaire, text/design analysis, comparative, interpretive.
